Anserfone's Memphis office utilizes both a state-of-the-art, digital VoiceNet voice mail platform and a large, digital Trilogue 6500 voice mail system. Both are digitally integrated with the main Startel 5700 telemessaging system. The systems are highly flexible and can be customized to many different needs. Current common configurations include: Basic Voice Mail Box - The most common box. Subscribers are assigned a number where they can record a greeting. The box answers with their greeting, records messages from callers, and the subscriber calls in periodically to check for messages. Deluxe Voice Mail Box - Same as the Basic Box but with an added Paging feature which will page the subscriber or call their mobile phone with calls are received. Fax Mail Box - Subscribers to this service get a number that answers with a fax tone. Callers can fax up to 20 pages into their mailbox just like sending them to a fax machine. The subscriber can then call in from anywhere in the country or the world that they find a fax machine and retrieve the faxes. Announce Only Box - This type box only plays the subscribers message. It does not give a beep and offer to record a message. Voice Mail Tree - This type box offers several options. Callers may press 1 for something, 2 for something else, 3 for something else, etc. Each branch can be a Basic Voice Mail box, a Deluxe Voice Mail box that pages someone, an announce only box, a live operator, or even a transfer to a number elsewhere. Voice Form - This type box can ask a series of questions. It might tell the caller to state their name and press #, after they press # it could tell them to state their telephone number and press #, after they press pound it could tell them to state their last two jobs, etc. When the subscriber picks up messages the whole series of questions is put together so they would hear the caller's name, number, experience, etc. Optional features that can be added to common configurations: |
